Operation Wetback (1954) Project

I. Find 2 to 3 pieces of propaganda that either supported the program or fed into the fears that led to the program. Either copy and paste them along with their web link to a word document.

II. Additionally, find 2 to 3 pieces of propaganda from today that continue to stoke fears of immigrants. Either copy and paste them along with their web link to a word document.

III. Finally provide a brief 100 to 150-word summary about each piece beneath the pieces from 1954 and the pieces from today.

IV. By then end of this you should have one long word document, 1954 documents and summaries first then modern era documents. Place a Heading between Each the 1954 and the modern era.

V. Write a 200- 250 word reaction to the role propaganda played both during “Operation Wetback” and today’s immigration rhetoric..
