  1. Put yourself in the role of instructor. Summarize the general message of the video for your peers.
  2. Identify 3 specific points from the video that are most relevant for you. You might discuss factors that prevent conversations, implications of conversations or avoidance of conversations, and/or the process of effective conversations.
  3. Identify one conversation that could make a profound change in your career, job, or life. Discuss what’s preventing it and how you will make this happen. You might include preparation, elements of the conversation, and the desired outcome (i.e., relationship, rewards, emotional benefits, goals, etc.)
  4. Include 3 major communication topics from chapter 9 in the Daft textbook. Include the importance of nonverbal communication elements (i.e., facial expression, body language, voice tone/volume/inflections, etc.).
