Results Section 5

Please see the attached documents for the following:

• An explanation of the results section of a research paper and what you should not do when presenting your results.
• A sample of a results draft

Minimum requirements for the section:

• The section must have at least the following:
  • An introductory paragraph that:
    • addresses the research question,
    • the total population (population refers to the total number of articles) that the author analyzed to answer the research question, and
    • categories of findings.
  • A table that presents the results and subcategories of results with citations.

• All the information in the section must be supported by evidence, and there MUST be substantial citations supporting the results.
