Write About Public Health

Each class member will write a double-spaced paper includinganswers to all three of the following topics:

1. Why are top quality evidence (journals, conferences) important to yourcareer as a dental health provider?
2. Why as a dental provider, should I understand disease trends in the globaland local population?
3. Why understanding major trends in health (periodontal disease, obesity,diabetes) can assist me in providing competent care to those who areaffected?
4. Why is it important that I understand research methods?
